Charles University in Prague is the 19th oldest University in the World and was founded by Charles IW, the Czech King and Roman Emperor in 1348. From the very beginning this University was characterized as a “studium generale” and nowadays contains 17 faculties, 3 collegiate institutes, and other additional establishments for educational, scientific, research and developmental activities.

This year, 13 Brazilian students has been working on the development of the project at this prestigious University in the centre of Prague. They performed their research, among the others, at Departments of Analytical Chemistry, Organic and Anorganic Chemistry.

João Kleber de Souza from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Modern Flow Techniques applied on Pharmaceuticals Analysis.

 

Lucas Fonseca from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Photoactive Nanoparticles Size Control.

 

Thais Barreiros from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Synthesis of fluorescent molecules for imaging of hydrolytic enzymes.

 

Thais Peron from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Porous and Covalent Triazine Based Frameworks Via Room Temperature and Microwave Assisted Synthesis.

 

Gabriel Avila from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Voltammetric determination of Butter Yellow at amalgam electrode.

 

Beatriz from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Electrochemical Volatile Species Generation of Bismuth.

 

Darlan Barbosa from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Phytoremediation of Bromazepam utilizing Zeamays plants.

 

Julia Bezerra from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding The Annulation Reaction in the Synthesis of Naphtho [2,1,8-ija ]quinolizinium Salts.

 

Fernando Okasaki from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project C-H Bond Activation with Ruthenium Complexes.

 

Alexandre Borin from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Zebrafish Breeding and Development of Epithelial Cells During Different Life Stages.

 

Gabriel Carneiro from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Esterification of Beta-Cyclodextrins.

 

Ana Beatriz Campanati from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Decomposition of AQ and GHG emissions from stationary emission sources in the Czech Republic during 1995-2014.

 

Yoshie Tomazini Motoshima from UFSCar joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and was focusing on whether the brassinosteroids are true regulators of plant response to drought stress.
