University of West Bohemia in Pilsen currently shelters 9 faculties and one independent research center, approaching modern technologies. The university has a special strong tradition in the field of Engineering, which is based on the historical focus on technology of Pilsen city, home of world famous Skoda cars and Pilsner Urquell beer.

This year, 20 Brazilian students have been working on development of various projects at this University. They performed their research at New Technologies Research Centre (NTC), Regional Technological Institute (RTI), but also at the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics or Faculty of Education.

Renan Nascimento Araújo from UFPE joined the UNIGOU program in the second half of 2017 and developed a project comparing drug trafficking trials in Brazilian and Czech courts.

 

Marina Felisberti from UFRGS joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding The U.S. status quo and the ongoing International Systemic Change – a reinterpretation of Iraq war in 2003.

 

Marcela Campos from UNICAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Water Bodies in the Urban Area of Pilsen

 

Giulia Peres de Souza from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding The Brazilian Geopolitics in the Post-Cold War Era: The way the South America is affected.

 

Ricardo Ouvinã from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Measurement of 3D profiles of objects by using 2D laser profilometer.

 

Wagner Firmino from FACAMP joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Gender Diversity in Management.

 

Tiago Lopes from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Characterization of laser beams- spatial power distribution.

 

Livia Silva joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and focused on Robustness testing of virtual human body model.

 

Luiz Brand from UFSC joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and focused on Thermal Behavior and Phase Evolution.

 

Juliana Ferreira joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project focusing on The Implementation of Social and Economic Rights in Brazil.

 

Daniel Maldonado joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Virtual Simulation of Short Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics Mold Injection.

 

Laura Pacheco joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Preparation and modification of polyvinylalcohol (PVA) membranes using nanodiamonds.

 

Letícia Gonçalves joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and focused on The situation of stateless people in contemporary international system and the role of international actors dealing with the issue of statelessness.

 

Matheus Vazquez joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and during his internship focused on Brazilian Music Culture – A ride from Contemporary to Popular.

 

Diego Tomazela joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and developed a project regarding Modelling of blood flow in pathologically altered vessels and vascular prostheses.

 

Rafael Gonçalves from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and participated on the Analysis and Optimization of Driving Systems and Transmissions in Automotive.

 

Ilana Paschoal from UFRJ joined the UNIGOU Program in the first half of 2017 and worked on a Comparison of Different Regimes of Future Legal Relations between the UK and the EU, after Brexit.
